Guide for law enforcement officers

The enforcement unit has made available its popular "Guide for Law Enforcement Officers." The booklet is designed to give Oregon law enforcement officers a basic working knowledge of Oregon's securities laws.


The booklet covers types of securities, examples of securities fraud, and indications of securities violations. In addition, a preliminary securities investigation checklist, search warrant preparation information, and a description of resources available to law enforcement personnel is also included.


This booklet is available free of charge to law enforcement agencies. To request copies, contact the enforcement unit at (503) 378-4140.
